Russian, Turkish airlines to fly to Turkish resorts on Monday

MOSCOW, Aug 10 (PRIME) -- Russian and Turkish airlines will restart flights from Russia to the Turkish resort cities on Monday, the Federal Air Transport Agency said in a statement on August 9.

“The program of international flights will be expanded tomorrow. On August 10, flights of Russian and Turkish carriers will restart, and they will fly Russians to the resort cities of Dalaman, Bodrum, and Antalya,” the statement read.

Rossiya Airlines, Nordwind, Red Wings, Ifly, and Ural Airlines will fly to Turkey from St. Petersburg, and the same carriers, excluding Rossiya Airlines, will fly from Rostov-on-Don. The airlines will also fly from Moscow together with Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, Pobeda, Royal Flight, Icarus, and Azur Air, the agency said.

The Turkish airlines that will fly between the cities include Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, and Corendon Airlines.

Since the relaunch of international flights on August 1, airlines have carried out 128 flights from Russia to Turkey and the U.K., carrying more than 38,500 passengers, the agency added.
